AIKO Unlocks a Constrained System
To meet Sonnex’s growing energy needs at its Adelaide facility, Exceed Solar deployed a 200 kW rooftop system using AIKO’s ultra-efficient 465W ABC modules. With limited roof space and a high generation target, the system was designed to deliver maximum performance, long-term savings, and space-optimised installation—all without increasing panel count.

Project challenge
The available roof space could not accommodate a 200 kW system using standard TOPCon 440W modules. Achieving the full system size without compromising output or efficiency required a solution that delivered higher power per panel, greater energy density—all within a fixed installation area.

Solution
By using AIKO’s 465W ABC modules, Sonnex achieved the full 200 kW target using fewer panels and significantly less roof space than would have been impossible with conventional modules. The system delivered a +5.9% energy density improvement, reducing 25 panels and saving valuable roof area. Over its 30-year lifetime, AIKO’s solution is projected to generate 607,600 kWh more energy, earn A$97,067 in additional energy income, and avoid 510 tonnes more CO₂ emissions compared to a system built with TOPCon 440W modules. These results clearly demonstrate AIKO’s superior value in high-density, performance-driven commercial installations.
ClientTestimonial
Sonnex had high energy demands but limited roof space and an underpowered grid connection. We needed a panel with maximum efficiency and output in a compact size — AIKO’s Neostar 2P 465W was the obvious choice. It offered the highest power in the smallest footprint at the time, allowing us to maximise the system size and performance.
