01 What is ABC Modules?
The ABC (All Back Contact) solar cell is a type of solar cell featuring a full back contact structure, where both the positive and negative electrodes are located on the back of the cell. With no electrode grid lines blocking the front surface, it achieves a 100% light-receiving area.
02 What makes AIKO modules better than other modules in the market?
AIKO’s solar modules have the world’s highest conversion efficiency for residential, commercial and utility scale solar panels. The modules are based on AIKO’s n-type ABC (All Back Contact) technology, which eliminates grid line shading losses and enables a full-black, modern look.
03 How can AIKO ABC Module help me with my next project?
Equipped with the latest technology, AIKO ABC modules are designed to minimize the impact of partial shading. These modules can achieve up to 30% increase in energy production compared to traditional modules when a cell is fully shaded. Additionally, they provide greater efficiency with the same number of panels, leading to increased power generation, reduced balance of system costs, and better return of investment over the lifetime of the project.
04 How is the market prospect for ABC technology?
First, AIKO’s ABC solar cells and modules possess a higher ultimate conversion efficiency. Second, the cost of ABC modules’ mass production can be comparable to or even lower than that of traditional modules. This is attributed to AIKO’s market-leading BC cells and modules manufacturing technology, silver-free metallization coating technology, and new back-contact interconnection technology. In addition, ABC modules feature an aesthetically pleasing appearance due to the absence of front-side busbars, which align with market demands. According to industry projections by PV Info Link, the production capacity of XBC series solar cell modules will increase annually. In summary, the ABC technology is expected to maintain its technological leadership in the next 5 to 8 years.
05 What are the main technologies of AIKO Infinite Modules?
The AIKO Infinite Modules integrate five main technologies: ultra-high resistivity wafers, high-efficiency ABC cells, 0BB technology, overlapping soldering technology, and busbar hidden technology. Through the combined effects of overlapping soldering and busbar concealment technology, the AIKO Infinite Modules achieve maximized placement of cells on the module, increasing the proportion of cells in the circuit area to over 99%.
