Scan Inter and AIKO Solar Join Forces to Lead Thailand’s Renewable Energy Transformation

On Wednesday, February 26, 2025, Scan Inter Public Company Limited signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Asia Pacific Zhejiang AIKO Solar Co., Ltd. at the headquarters of Scan Inter PCL in Nonthaburi Province to lay the foundation for cooperation in solar energy and the procurement of solar panels in Thailand.

This signing aims to establish business cooperation and develop solar energy projects in Thailand under the Feed-in-Tariff Program, including other solar rooftop projects. Scan Inter PCL is responsible for the procurement of solar panels and EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) operations, with an expected total procurement of 200 megawatts of solar panels by the year 2030 The MOU signing ceremony was honored by the participation of senior executives from both companies, including Mr.Thanchart Kitpipit, Executive chairman of Scan Inter PCL, and Mr.Kuntanun Sukkachantr, Regional Technical and Solution Manager – South Asia, SEA and Thailand, AIKO Solar.

Mr.Thanchart Kitpipit, Executive chairman of Scan Inter PCL, stated, “Under this MOU, we have three key objectives: to install and expand solar energy systems with high-efficiency solar panels from AIKO Solar to increase clean energy production capacity, develop smart energy solutions for maximum energy management efficiency, and drive clean energy to the industrial and household sectors, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and support the transition to green energy.”

Additionally, Ms. Kusalin Thamcharonkij, Chief marketing officer from LT Energy 4 Co., Ltd., also attended the signing ceremony as a witness, demonstrating the cooperation of key partners in the development of Thailand’s clean energy industry.

Furthermore, Scan Inter PCL has also partnered with LT Energy 4 due to the company’s expertise in renewable energy project development and strong business network, which will help our projects expand efficiently. We have also chosen products from AIKO Solar, a company with world-class solar energy innovations. This signing marks a significant step in jointly promoting the use of clean energy and building energy security for Thailand and the Southeast Asian region.
