Residential project at Xinxiang Restaurant
in Meizhou, China

In this project, the modules are installed on the rooftop of Xinxiang Restaurant in Meizhou, Guangdong Province, occupying an area of 185 square meters. Power is generated for the owner’s air-conditioning and other equipment, in the mode of “self-generation for self-consumption, feeding surplus power into the local power grid”. Influenced by the mountainous terrain, Meizhou has long summer days and abundant sunlight, so green PV energy development is promising here. This project is an ABC-TOPCon comparison project, installing 36 modules separated, with AIKO’s ABC modules having an installed capacity of 21.78 kW and TOPCon modules having an installed capacity of 20.7 kW.
Project results
Annual savings in standard coal
15 tons Annual savings in standard coal
Annual reduction in CO₂ emissions
28.52 tons Annual reduction in CO₂ emissions
Equivalent to annual tree planting
79 trees Equivalent to annual tree planting
Annual power generation
50,000 kWh Annual power generation
Compared with TOPCon modules, AIKO’s modules have a higher installed capacity for the same area. In the same cycle, 36 ABC modules generate 1,898 kWh compared to 1,709 kWh by 36 TOPCon modules.

Testimonial
Our restaurant has dozens of air conditioners, which consume a lot of electricity and cause high temperatures outside in the summer, so I chose to install PV modules. The PV panels provide both insulation and protection. Most of all, we can use them to realize self-sufficiency in electricity. AIKO’s products have good quality and high conversion efficiency, and they are competitive in terms of power generation capacity.
