AIKO Achieves Grade A Classification in Wood Mackenzie’s Global Solar Module Manufacturer Ranking 2026

June 11th, 2026

AIKO has achieved Grade A classification in Wood Mackenzie’s Global Solar Module Manufacturer Ranking 2026, meeting the industry’s highest performance threshold based on full-year 2025 evaluation data.

Wood Mackenzie’s supplier assessment framework is widely referenced to evaluate module manufacturers’ bankability and operational capability. The qualification process considers ten criteria with distinct weightings: capacity utilization, technology maturity, adherence to ESG and CSR, availability of third-party certification, financial conditions, module manufacturing experience in production, supply chain resilience, vertical integration, module manufacturing experience in years, and research and development. A Grade A classification is granted to manufacturers that meet five or more of the defined benchmarks, indicating a level of capability that reduces project risk for developers, EPCs, and asset owners.

As a pioneer and leader in BC technology, AIKO has accumulated nearly 2,000 patent applications related to its proprietary ABC (All Back Contact) technology and secured BC patent licensing for global markets excluding the United States, establishing comprehensive technology leadership and a strong patent moat. Since 2022, its Zhuhai production base has operated the world’s first proven, mass-produced copper interconnection solution for BC modules, with over four years of production validation. According to TaiyangNews, AIKO’s ABC modules have ranked No.1 in the industry’s highest mass-production efficiency list since March 2023, delivering customers higher power output per watt, higher revenue and ultra-safety. Innovations such as SeparaTech further strengthen the platform’s competitive edge.

As the global energy transition continues to accelerate, AIKO will remain committed to advancing its ABC technology platform, expanding manufacturing capacity, and strengthening global delivery capabilities to support a more sustainable, carbon-free energy future for customers worldwide.
