AIKO Named Kiwa PVEL 2026 Top Performer Across All Seven Reliability Test Categories

June 24th, 2026

AIKO has once again been named a Top Performer in the 2026 Kiwa PVEL PV Module Reliability Scorecard, one of the solar industry’s most widely recognized independent benchmarks for module reliability and long-term performance.

Compared with the previous year, AIKO achieved broader recognition in the latest edition, earning Top Performer status across seven key reliability test categories with its AIKO-Axxx-GRH66Dw modules. The result further demonstrates the durability and long-term stability of AIKO’s ABC (All Back Contact) technology under demanding operating conditions.

The recognition covers:

  • Thermal Cycling (TC)
  • Damp Heat (DH)
  • Mechanical Stress Sequence (MSS)
  • Potential-Induced Degradation (PID)
  • UV-Induced Degradation (UVID)
  • Light and Elevated Temperature-Induced Degradation (LETID)
  • Hail Stress Sequence

Conducted annually by Kiwa PVEL, the Scorecard evaluates PV modules through extensive accelerated stress testing designed to simulate decades of real-world operation under harsh environmental conditions. The program is widely referenced by developers, EPCs, investors, and asset owners when assessing module bankability and long-term reliability.

AIKO’s strong performance across all seven categories highlights the robustness of its ABC module architecture. The technology platform combines high efficiency with enhanced structural reliability, helping modules maintain stable power output under thermal stress, humidity, UV exposure, mechanical loading, and extreme weather conditions.

“Receiving Top Performer recognition again from Kiwa PVEL is an important validation of the reliability and maturity of our ABC technology,” said Christian Peter, Managing Director of Solarlab Aiko Europe GmbH. “As the industry places greater emphasis on long-term energy yield and lifecycle value, reliability has become just as important as efficiency. We believe this recognition further confirms the competitiveness of ABC technology in global solar markets.”

“Kiwa PVEL’s annual Scorecard continues to set important benchmarks for module reliability and long-term performance across the solar industry,” said Tristan Erion-Lorico, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Kiwa PVEL. “We congratulate AIKO for achieving Top Performer status across seven of our Product Qualification Program reliability tests, demonstrating strong durability and consistent performance under accelerated stress conditions designed to reflect real-world operation.”

As the solar industry increasingly prioritizes long-term energy yield, lifecycle performance, and asset quality, AIKO continues to advance high-efficiency module technology designed to deliver both strong generation performance and long-term investment value, supporting the global transition toward a more sustainable, zero-carbon future.
