AIKO Unveils “NAVIGATOR” Intelligent Module at Intersolar Europe 2025, Setting a New Standard for Intelligence and Efficiency in Solar

May 7th, 2025

[Munich, May 7, 2025] – AIKO, a global leader in high-efficiency solar technologies and pioneer of N-Type ABC technology, today unveiled its newest innovation — the NAVIGATOR Intelligent Module — at Intersolar Europe 2025. This launch marks a significant step in integrating intelligence into high-performance PV modules, helping asset owners unlock greater yields, lower O&M costs, and maximize long-term value.

While NAVIGATOR appears similar in form to AIKO’s acclaimed N-Type ABC module series, the breakthrough lies in its fully intelligent integration, which enables a 3–5% increase in annual energy yield through real-time monitoring and data-driven system optimization.

Invisible Power, Visible Results

Equipped with PLC (Power Line Communication) technology, the NAVIGATOR’s intelligent junction box transmits real-time operational data through the existing DC cables — no additional wiring required. The data is then relayed to a central gateway and synced with a cloud-based smart management platform, allowing operators to monitor the performance of each individual module.

This unlocks true module-level monitoring, enabling early detection of anomalies, generation of AI-powered diagnostics, and faster resolution of potential faults. In one 10MW power plant case, AIKO estimates that NAVIGATOR modules could recover up to 300,000 kWh of invisible losses annually.

Beyond yield improvement, NAVIGATOR is built to streamline O&M. In a traditional system, manual inspection of a 10MW site can require 10 people working three days. With NAVIGATOR’s smart acceptance tools, the same task can be completed by one person in under one hour, slashing the effort by over 95%.

Smart Today, Smarter Tomorrow

NAVIGATOR offers a low-cost, low-barrier entry to intelligent solar asset management — no additional wiring, minimal installation changes, and immediate benefits in system visibility and fault detection. More importantly, its built-in connectivity lays the groundwork for future AI-driven diagnostics and autonomous O&M, enabling smarter, leaner solar operations over time. It’s not just about more power — it’s about preparing solar assets for the next stage of intelligence.
