Smarter Solar Investment: AECAR Srl Achieves Higher Yield and Faster Payback with AIKO

AECAR Srl, a manufacturer of precious metal electrical contacts in Meda (MB), Italy, was looking for a high-efficiency solar solution to reduce its energy costs and improve sustainability. With rising electricity prices and the need for reliable power, the company required a system that could maximize energy production while ensuring long-term financial returns.

To address these needs, AECAR Srl partnered with Ok Group Srl (distributor) and Iniziativenergetiche Srl (Installer) to install a 205,66 kWp photovoltaic system across two facilities. AIKO’s 455Wp ABC N-Type modules were selected for their higher energy output, strong reliability and excellent cost/performance ratio.

AECAR Srl noted that they were satisfied with the aesthetics of the modules and that the quality/price ratio was a key factor in their decision to choose AIKO.

Compared to other available options, AIKO’s N-Type ABC modules offered clear advantages:

• Higher Installed Capacity: With the same rooftop space, AIKO’s modules reached 205 kWp, 5.8% more than TOPCon.
• Greater Energy Production: AIKO modules generate 266 MWh annually, compared to 246 MWh with TOPCon, providing an 8.1% increase in energy yield.
• Long-Term Financial Benefits: Over 30 years, AIKO’s modules will generate 596 MWh more clean energy, adding an estimated €101,500 in extra value.
• Shorter Payback Period: AIKO’s modules recovers the investment 6% faster than TOPCon.
