AIKO named number one for module efficiency in 2023

1 December 2023, Düsseldorf – AIKO’s solar modules have achieved world number-one efficiency for nine months in a row, according to the latest module Top Solar Modules efficiency ranking to be published by TaiyangNews in December.
AIKO’s modules have consistently ranked number one among all commercially available solar modules since March 2023, when AIKO’s innovative ABC modules were launched on the market.
“We are delighted to continue to take the number-one spot in the latest TaiyangNews evaluation,” said Tiger Lu, CEO of AIKO Energy. “This provides further validation of the exceptional performance and quality of our solar modules.”

Mr Lu made the remarks at the trade fair Solar Solutions Düsseldorf this week, where Michael Schmela, Managing Director of TaiyangNews, gave a preview to attendees on the results of its upcoming ranking.
AIKO’s solar modules have the world’s highest conversion efficiency for any commercial solar panels, at 24%. The modules are based on AIKO’s n-type ABC (All Back Contact) technology, which eliminates grid line shading losses and enables a full-black, modern look.
AIKO solar panels also have a very low degradation rate of 0.35% per year after the first year plus a temperature coefficient of –0.26%/°C, which is superior to that of other brands.

AIKO’s technology received the Intersolar Award and the Red Dot Product Design Award in 2023 for its ABC technology.
