Located in Leping Town, Sanshui District, Foshan, Guangdong Province, the project utilizes the rooftops (approximately 30,000 square meters) of two plants of Guangdong Meichaowan Biotechnology Co., Ltd. to construct a PV power generation system with a capacity of 3.1MW, in the mode of “self-generation for self-consumption, feeding surplus power into the local power grid”.

Before installation of AIKO’s ABC modules, the enterprise’s annual electricity bill amounted to RMB6 million. After the installation of the modules, it is expected that the electricity bill will be reduced by nearly half, with significant results in cost reduction and efficiency increase.

Project challenge
The project is located in a power generation efficiency Category III area, where solar energy resources are average, and high requirements for module performance, efficiency and power generation are put forward.


Solution
The project utilizes 5,363 N-type ABC mono-glass 595W modules from AIKO, with an installed capacity of 3.1 MW. AIKO’s ABC modules are the world’s No. 1 in mass production delivery efficiency. For the same area, the installed capacity of the project with AIKO’s ABC modules is 5%+ higher than those projects with other products, and the power generation is also higher.
