Green Energy Assets A 31.26 MW AIKO ABC solar project creates a scalable renewable energy model for logistics parks
In support of China’s carbon-peaking and carbon-neutrality goals, unused warehouse roofs are being transformed into productive clean-energy assets. The project spans three districts in Wuhan and covers five JD Logistics parks: Wuhan Xingji Logistics Co., Ltd. and Wuhan Jiayi Warehousing and Logistics Management Co., Ltd. in Dongxihu; Wuhan Yuzhen Supply Chain Management Co., Ltd. in Donghu Logistics Park; Wuhan Lanxia Technology Co., Ltd. in Jiangxia Songlan Logistics Park; and Wuhan Jingheng Logistics Co., Ltd. in Optics Valley South Intelligent Industrial Park. The large warehouse roofs are ideal for distributed solar. Through a rooftop solar plus logistics and warehousing model, Dinghao Energy is encouraging nearby industrial parks to follow, building a scalable green electricity supply network and converting unused roofs into long-term income-generating assets.

Project Challenges
Warehouse safety is critical, and Wuhan experiences extremely hot summers.

Solution
AIKO and Dinghao Energy developed a distributed solar portfolio spanning three Wuhan districts and five JD Logistics parks. The project uses 48,094 AIKO ABC modules with a total installed capacity of 31.26 MW, turning logistics park roofs into assets expected to generate clean electricity worth more than RMB 10 million annually. With mass-production delivery efficiency of 24.4%, ABC modules enable greater installed capacity and generation within the same area. Their lighter single-glass design reduces roof loading and enhances roof safety. Modules operate outdoors for decades and face Wuhan’s high summer temperatures, both of which can contribute to hotspots. ABC high-temperature protection and a temperature coefficient of -0.26%/°C substantially reduce heat-related fire risks, protect power generation and site operations, and maintain stable output in hot conditions. ABC technology unlocks the value of solar electricity and turns unused roof space into efficient, sustainable green productivity.

Testimonial
When selecting PV modules, we carefully considered the mainstream products available. We ultimately chose ABC modules because of their high power, superior temperature coefficient, low degradation, shade optimization, and world-leading conversion efficiency. These advantages can significantly increase generation across the entire plant and clearly outperform conventional module products.
