Nanliang: Maximizing Rooftop Value Across Multiple Manufacturing Sites

AIKO performs very well across its production processes, technology, and quality control. First, ABC modules have no front-side grid lines and deliver higher power than other brands. On the same roof area, they enable a larger plant capacity, which lowers the allocated cost per watt. Second, their shade optimization performs better. Whether shading comes from buildings, trees, clouds, or localized obstructions, AIKO modules generate around 10% more electricity than other PV modules in our experience. Third, their resistance to microcracks is excellent. We tested a person standing on a module: it showed very little deformation, while comparable modules deformed significantly. We also saw virtually no breakage during construction. We have installed approximately 3.6 MW of AIKO modules on Nanliang’s own factory roofs. In the first two months after grid connection, monthly generation remained at approximately 450,000 kWh, and annual generation is expected to exceed 5 million kWh. This is a valuable additional source of income for the company.
